AIC Healthcare is a private general practice with rooms in Goodwood and in Maitland, Cape Town. We are open seven days a week, and we look after individuals and families at every stage of life — from a child’s first growth check to long-term care for a chronic condition.

Our story
No matter the individual's status.
That is the whole of it. We set out to provide accessible, affordable and holistic primary healthcare to local and previously disadvantaged communities — including the acute and chronic medication people actually need, dispensed here rather than somewhere else.
What we do
Our facilities offer chronic disease care and health promotion through daily health programmes. We run a growth monitoring service for children, checking weight and height by age range and comparing developmental milestones against age, so that anything unusual is picked up early.
And beyond that
Health promotion and prevention around sexually transmitted infections, tuberculosis, HIV, teen pregnancy and chronic disease, alongside in-patient and out-patient management, DNA testing, child health, maternal health, sexual health, mental health, wellness clinics, palliative care and emergency care.
